SRINAGAR, Apr 19: Hitting out at people who use mosque pulpits to preach hate and divide Muslims along sectarian lines, Moderate Hurriyat Conference (HC) chairman Mirwaiz Moulvi Omar Farooq said such persons should be boycotted.
“At the Seerat conference, children spoke with reverence and passion about life and contribution of our beloved Prophet (Pbuh). I emphasised that those who use pulpit of mosques to divide & preach hate among Muslims along sectarian lines will not be tolerated and should be boycotted,” Mirwaiz wrote on micro-blogging site twitter.
The HC chairman also posted pictures of the Seerat Conference held at Islamia Higher Secondary School Rajouri Kadal in downtown Srinagar on Thursday.
