SRINAGAR, Apr 20: Police recovered a minor girl and arrested the kidnapper today.
A Police spokesman said that a complaint was received by Police station Nowgam from the parents of a minor girl (name withheld) that their minor daughter was kidnapped.
He said after strenuous efforts by the police, the minor girl was recovered from the possession of the kidnapper and was handed over to her parents.
“In this regard, a case FIR No. 34/2018 under Section 363, 109 RPC stands registered in Police Station Nowgam. The accused kidnapper, Bashir Ahmad Para was arrested and further investigation is in progress,” he said.
