JKGB conducts awareness camps under ‘Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan’

JAMMU, Apr 21: Micro Finance and Financial Inclusion Department of J&K Grameen Bank (JKGB) conducted “Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan” campaign at villages Deoli, Mohdmud Pur, Badwal and Geegrial under the Branch Offices Deoli, Bishnah and Khour districts of Jammu.
The programme was focussed on maximum enrolment of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY). Sumit Sharma, Branch Head, along with Ravi Kumar official from Branch Office Deoli, made the people aware about these schemes and requested them to enroll under these social security schemes.
Vikas Salgotra, Branch Head Bishnah, highlighted that the programme mainly focuses on to enroll more and more individuals under these social security schemes viz; Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana (PMJJBY) and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY). At least 400 people attendant the camps and a hundred of enrolments was done during the programme.
Rajinder Bhat, Branch Head Khour organized the programme under “Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan” in unbanked villages Badwal and Geegrial. Representatives of various departments i.e., BDO, BMO, and DDM attendant the camps and made people aware of the benefits of the schemes.
All Branch Heads, aware the people regarding use of social security schemes i.e., PMJDY, PMJJBY & PMSBY. They aware people about the various lending schemes tailored by the bank available on easy EMIs i.e. Housing Loan, Transport Loan, Car Loan, Education Loan, etc., where rate of interest charged by the bank is very competitive. RuPay debit cards were also distributed to the customers.
