KISHTWAR, Dec 11: India Australia Institute (IAI) has sanctioned Rs 5 lakh to Kishtwar Campus, University of Jammu for proposed Baba Farid-ud-Din Research Centre.
The said amount was sanctioned during a meeting of Board of Directors held at University of Melbourne, Australia, which was presided over by Director India Australia Institute Prof Amitabh Mattoo.
MLA Kishtwar, Sajad Ahmed Kichloo, MLC Peer Asgar Ali and MLA Inderwal GM Saroori said that the centre would definitely promote the national integration and communal harmony in the Chenab valley.
