Kheerbhawani Committee delegation calls on CM

JAMMU, Apr 26: A delegation of Mata Kheerbhawani Yatra Committee today called on Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti.
The delegation was led by Amitab Mattoo, Advisor to CM along with convener of the Committee, Kiran Wattal and Advisory Members Ashok Aima, Vice Chancellor, Central University Jammu, M K Jalali president, Sharika Peeth Sanastha Jammu, Pintoo Ji of Jagti and other social activists Aryan Ramesh, Rohit Bhat and Anita Chandpuri.
Mr Wattal convener of the Committee besides complimenting the Chief Minister  for smooth yatra last year further requested her that arrangements regarding accommodation and remodeling dormitories at Kheerbhawani shrine and functioning of Sewerage Treatment Plant  (STP) made proper so that the pilgrims are not put to problems.
The delegation made a request for adequate transport arrangements to Tulmulla, Manzgam, in Kulgam district, Tikker in Kupwara district, Lokripora in Pahalgam  and other religious places in Valley so that yatra is conducted without any hurdle and of course with proper security.
CM after listening to the delegation issued immediate instructions to the concerned authorities to start a process well in advance and assured all arrangements for ensuing Mela Kheerbhawani Yatra.
