JAMMU, Apr 27: Ministerial staff of Health Department today observed a complete strike in support of their demand for removal of pay anomalies, on the call of Jammu Kashmir Ladakh All Department Clerical Staff Coordination Committee, Jammu.
Mohd Saleem, president, Ministerial Staff Welfare Association, Jammu division, while addressing the protesting clerks, requested all the colleagues to gather in good strength and strictly follow the strike program to get their issues resolved.
He urged all the district presidents including maximum clerical colleagues to attend the dharna program at Directorate of Health Services, Jammu, tomorrow.
Meanwhile, Sushil Sudan, president, Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF), in a meeting held here in DHS complex after the protest of clerical staff, appealed the State Government to fulfill the demand of clerks of the State as the fraternity is considered as the back bone of Civil Administration, and they are the hard workers behind the scene of the entire major & minor State projects and schemes.
It was announced in the meeting that All J&K Government Pharmacists’ Association will join the striking clerks if their demands are not fulfilled shortly.
