POONCH, Apr 27: The Youth National Conference (YNC) activists today held protest near Fort complex and disrupted movement of traffic for more than an hour.
The NC activists led by City NC president, Nishu Sharma assembled near Fort complex on the road and held protest demonstration. They were lodging their protest against the attempt of the present Government to shift Jammu University campus from Poonch to Mendhar. They raised slogans against Chief Minister and Education Minister and said that Poonch youth will not allow this campus to be shifted to Mendhar.
Nishu Sharma and few other senior members also addressed the gathering and criticised the move of the PDP-BJP Government. The movement of traffic remained suspended for more than an hour. The protesting youth dispersed after some time.
