Retirees accorded warm send off

JAMMU, Apr 27: Police Headquarter today organized a function to accord warm send off to Nasir Khan, SP(S) Senior Administration Officer (PHQ), who is superannuating on April 30 after serving the police department for more than 39 years.
Director General of Police, Dr SP Vaid, while speaking on the occasion highlighted the capabilities and contribution of the officer during his service and held him an institution in himself. The DGP wished the retiring officer a prosperous and healthy retired life. The officer was presented a memento by the DGP.
The function was attended by IGP (Pers), PHQ JP Singh, IGP (Headquarters) PHQ, Anand Jain, AIGsP PHQ Sulaiman Choudhary, Aftab Ahmad, Mubassir Latifi, Abdul Waheed, Manoj Pandit, JDP PHQ, Gowhar Ahmad and many other gazetted officers of PHQ.
Meanwhile, Jammu University Non-Teaching Employees Union (JUNTEU) accorded a warm send off to Sunil Sahi, Assistant Registrar and Sudesh Sharma, Section Officer, who retired after attaining the age of superannuation today.
The fare-well was held in the Office Chamber of Non-Teaching Employees Union. President of the Union, Pawan Singh Bhau wished for their healthy and prosperous post retirement life. Manoj Chouhan (vice president) and other office bearers of the Union were also present in the function.
A warm send off was also accorded to Girja Raina, a teacher of Government Middle School, Pataa Bohri, who retired today on attaining the age of superannuation. In a farewell function organized at the school premises, her colleagues including Incharge Head Master, wished her a happy and prosperous post retirement life.
