BHADERWAH, Apr 29: To spread the message of peace, Brahma Kumaris organized a one-day meditation and spiritual session on ‘Year of Global Enlightenment for Golden Age’, here today.
The programme in which 500 devotees from different walks of life participated was held at Community Hall, Kotli, Bhadarwah.
On the occasion, ASP Bhaderwah, Rajinder Singh was the chief guest and CPO Doda, Joginder Singh was the guest of honour while president, Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Bhadarwah, Ved Kumar Kotwal, was special invitee. The event was presided over by Raj Yogi BK Sudarshana, Director J&K Brahma Kumaris.
The day-long programme started with the lightening of traditional lamp by the chief guest, followed by the motivational and spiritual sessions, which was addressed by the Brahma Kumaris and Brahma brothers, beside some guests.
Later, devotional songs and dances were also presented by the children. It was followed by Brahama Bhojan (Community Lunch).
“In the given circumstances, when we are surrounded with violence, hatred and instability, we want to spread the message of peace and oneness, as we firmly believe that all the human beings are one irrespective of their religion, cast, color or ethnic group, and they should never forget this, only then all of us can live in complete peace and harmony, which is need of the hour, “said Raj Yogi BK Sudarshana.
Prominent among the Brahama Kumaris who spoke on the occasion included Senior Brother Ravinder, Anju, Shushma, Rajni, Sona and Rakhi, besides SK Mishra from AIR Bhadarwah and Ajit Kumar, JE Mechanical.
