LEH, (Ladakh), Apr 29: Concluding ceremony of 29th National Road Safety Week was observed at Sindu Sanskriti Hall Leh by Motor Vehicle Department Leh today in which Tsering Dorjay , Minister for Ladakh Affairs and Cooperatives was the chief guest and Dorjay Motup chairman/Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Leh was guest of honour. Besides, the officers of district administration and police were also present in the ceremony.
Deputy Commissioner, Leh, Additional SP Leh and other district officers, various stakeholders like transporters, students from institutes were also present.
Artists of Cultural Academy and local artists of Leh displayed street play regarding traffic rules.
The chief guest Tsering Dorjay appreciated Motor Vehicle Department especially ARTO, Khadim Hussain and his team for organising such traffic awareness programs in Leh. The chief guest also distributed the certificates and mementos for best 2018 drivers.
