JAMMU, Apr 30: A function was organized at Battalion Headquarters IRP 16th Battalion, Ramban to bid a warm farewell to Mohd Saleem, Superintendent of Police of this unit who attained Superannuation today after completion of 36 years of service.
The function was attended by officers and jawans of the Battalion and other guests of the retiring officer. On the occasion, officers including Battalion Commander, AK Mahajan, highlighted the services rendered by retiree in the department and wished him a healthy/happy post retirement life with his family.
A warm send off was given to Chander Peshin, Command Officer, Rajouri and Poonch Fire and Emergency Serv-ices, by his colleagues and other staff members in a function organized at Fire Headquarters, Rajouri, as he retired today on attaining the age of superannuation.
RT Dubey, Director, Fire and Emergency Services, while speaking on the occasion said that the retiring officer joined the department on 1979 as Sub Officer and served the department in various categories and capacities. He along with other officers wished Chander Peshin a happy post retirement life.
A warm send off was accorded to Sushma Kumari, Headmaster, Government Boys High School, Ghass Mandi, Jammu, who attained the age of superannuation today after rendering 38 years of service. The staff members in a function organized in the school premises wished her a happy and prosperous retirement life.
A warm farewell was accorded to Attaullah Khawaja, Assistant Lineman, in PHE Sub Divi-sion, Doda, who attained the age of superannuation after rendering 31 years of distinguished service in PHE Department.
In this connection, a grand farewell party was organized at the residence of retiring official which was attended by officers from PHE Division, prominent citizens and local populace of the area, who wished him a healthy and prosperous post retirement life.
