KISHTWAR, May 2: A minor girl was injured today when a speeding tipper hit her in Chhatroo area.
According to a police official, today at about 6:55 PM, a tipper bearing registration number JK02W-6577 hit and injured a 6-year-old girl namely Robino Bano daughter of Kasam Gujjar, resident of Gugaran Marah (Chhatroo).
The injured girl was immediately shifted to Government Hospital Chhatroo, from where she was later referred to District Hospital, Kishtwar. The concerned police had registered a case in this connection and arrested the tipper driver, who was identified as Mushtaq Ahmed son of Gulam Hassan of Bandarkot while the vehicle was also seized.
