JAMMU, May 2: J&K BJP reaches out to underprivileged population in the villages of the State particularly inhabited by the neglected sections of the society. The move is a part of the mission to achieve the true unification in all the sects and the sections of society, undertaken by BJP at the National level on the call of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi.
BJP State general secretary (Org.), Ashok Kaul along with MLA Hiranagar, Kuldeep Kumar, BJP district president, Kathua, Prem Dogra along with other senior leaders conducted series of programmes under “Gram Swaraj Abhiyaan” under which the BJP senior leaders interacted with the local masses from various villages having the majority population from under privileged sections, had meals amongst them and utilized night time at the residence of BJP activists from the weaker sections to warm their spirits up.
The series of programmes were conducted at various villages like “Bigwan” under the Kathua Rural Mandal, Bijwan Lower, Chakk Nathal, Chakk Shabba and Kot Pullu Lower. All the programmes were attended by hundreds of local persons having maximum population from “Dalit” community.
While addressing in the programmes, Ashok Kaul concentrated on the role of organizational structure in the working of the BJP. He said that the democratic set up within the party has led to its enormous popularity and growth throughout the length and the breadth of the country. He laid stress on the fact that the premier leadership of BJP has given birth to the increased standards of working within the political system of the country.
Prem Dogra touched the various schemes which are specifically initiated and promoted by the BJP government for the welfare of the Dalit population. He stressed that all the other political parties have till now only milked their issue for their own petty political gains, but now BJP has truly touched the subject at its core and started building concrete policy for ensuring a nation which is caste free, evil free, unemployment free and corruption free.
