NSF protests against ‘misuse’ of JU vehicles

Jammu, Dec 13: Today students and the scholars of the University of Jammu (JU) held protest demonstration across the Campus under the banner of National Secular Forum (NSF).
The protesting students and the scholars,  led by Narinder Singh District President, NSF, were raising slogans against the University Authorities for not taking note of their demands and maintaining stoic silence over the entire matter.
They alleged misuse of university vehicles by the officials for personal interest leading to the misuse of funds which are ment for the students’ welfare and demanded all vehicles from the officials be withdrawn.
NSF appealed the Governor to implement the same rule which has been adopted in Kashmir University where it has been made mandatory for the officials to surrender the vehicles allotted to them. It also demanded an audit into the funds utilized for vehicle use in JU.
Among those who were present in the protest included, Shafqat Malik, Tanveer,  Amit, Sanjeev Sharma, Nitish, Pushpinder Singh, Pardeep Kumar, Ankit Sharma, Narinder Singh, Vimal Singh, Sheetal Aryan, Vinod Kumar and others.
