JAMMU, May 3: A 15-year-old boy was killed today after he got trapped in a thrashing machine in Jhajjar Kotli area of city outskirts.
“The deceased has been identified as Shakeel Ahmed son of Mohd Din, resident of Sunjuwan. He was working with a thrashing machine at a farm in Tarha village when a muffler he was wearing in his neck got trapped in thrashing machine, which pulled him inside”, a police official said.
He said that in the mishap, Shakeel Ahmed was killed on the spot. His body was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites after completing all medico-legal formalities, the official said, adding, Jhajjar Kotli police had taken cognizance of the matter.
