Kavinder performs Ardas at Gurudwara Digiana Ashram, meets Sikh leaders

JAMMU, May 6: Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta today visited at Gurudwara, Digiana Ashram, Jammu for getting blessings of Mohant Manjit Singh ji of Shiromani Dera Nangali Sahib Poonch and attended the Gurmat Smagam.
The Ragies, religious preachers and leaders of various Sikh organizations including Sikh United Front  J&K, Shiromani Akali Dal J&K, Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Sewa Society J&K, All India Sikh Student Federation, Sikh Naujawan Sabha, Sikh Welfare Society, members of DGPC Jammu and J&K Motor Transport Companies Association Jammu were present on the occasion.
While addressing the Sikh Sangat, Sudarshan Singh Wazir, chairman, Sikh United Front J&K and ex-president, J&K State Gurdwara Prabhandak Board, hoped that Kavinder Gupta will solve the problems of Jammu on priority which are lying pending for long time. He demanded to install the statue of Baba Bandha Singh Bahadur at Kunjwani Chowk, reconstruction of transport industry as a Transport Minister and induction of a Sikh Minister in BJP-PDP Coalition Government in J&K.
Kavinder Gupta assured the Mohant Singh Ji and Sikh Sangat that he will try his best to solve problems faced by the Sikh community in particular and others in general. Mohant Manjit Singh Ji stressed upon the Deputy CM to work for the betterment of the people of the State. He also presented Siropa to the Deputy CM and prayed (performed Ardas) for him so that he can serve the people of the State with dedication and without discrimination.
The leaders of various Sikh organization including Amrik Singh, Varinderjeet Singh, Mohinder Singh, Pramjit Singh, Surinder Singh Kala, Gajan Singh, Darbinder Singh, Raja Singh and Paramjeet Singh Raina were also present.
