IPL 2018 : Royal Challengers to face Sunrisers Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: Sunrisers Hyderbad, who is in great form, will meet Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 11th season of IPL to secure a place in the playoffs at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium here on Monday.
So far, Hyderabad has won seven of the nine matches and is on 14th position at the table chart.
The team needs one win to secure a place in the playoffs and if they beat Bangalore on Monday, they will be the first team to reach the playoff.
On the other hand, Captain Virat Kohli-led Bangalore team is going through a rough patch. Bangalore could win only three off the nine matches and is on the sixth position with six points. If it loses today, the team will have to win the remaining four matches to play further. The performances of the other teams will also play an important in it.
Buoyed by its previous victories, Kane Williamson’s Hyderabad team’s confidence is running high, contrary to Virat’s Bangalore team, which has lost most of the matches.
Nobody had thought that Bangalore’s batsmen against the Chennai Super Kings would fail to impress with their performance.
Brendon McCullum (5), Captain Virat Kohli (eight) and AB de Villiers (one), Mandeep Singh (seven) and Colin de Gordouham (eight) could only score eight runs. The Bangalore team scored 127 runs and also lacks a bowling attack like Hyderabad, who can defend it.
The dismal performance of the team’s fielders also put Kohli in a tight spot as he struggled to win the matches. However, Virat also admitted that one cannot win by dropping catches. “We lost some more wickets. We know that our forward journey is very tough. We have to win at least four of the remaining five games. ” “When you get stuck in such difficult situations, your best performance comes out and I am very positive about the remaining matches.” the Captain hoped. Currently, Sunrisres Hyderabad is in its best form along with its captain Williamson. They won their first match against Delhi Daredevils by seven wickets on Sunday. Delhi scored 163 for five wickets, while Hyderabad scored 164 for three in 19.5 overs and won seventh match in nine games.
For Hyderabad, Alex Hales of England scored 44 off 31 balls, Shikhar Dhawan scored 33 off 30 balls and captain Williamson scored 32 not out off 30 balls. In this session for Hyderabad, Yusuf Pathan emerged as a finisher. Pathan, who scored two fours and two sixes in just 12 balls against Delhi, scored an unbeaten 27 and clinched the match. Bengaluru needs to give its 200 per cent against Hyderabad to win and maintain its hopes. The Captain hoped, “When you get stuck in such difficult situations, your best performance comes out and I am feeling very positive for the remaining matches.”
