1800 banned syrup bottles seized

JAMMU, May 8: Manwal police under ‘Operation Sanjeevani’ seized 1800 banned syrup bottles, while the accused managed to escape from the spot.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Manwal Police Post laid a naka at Nadal and intercepted a Srinagar bound truck bearing registration number JK01P-8713.
On seeing police cops, the truck driver left the vehicle and escaped from the spot.
During checking, police recovered 1800 bottles of banned syrup bottles from the truck and seized it.
A case under FIR Number 39/18 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and further investigation of the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Manwal Police Post SI Suresh Kumar seized the consignment under the supervision of SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Ajay Singh, SDPO Nagrota Yashbir Singh Slathia, SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
