KATHUA : May 9: Former minister and senior Congress leader Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today alleged that unholy BJP-PDP alliance was responsible for the unrest in the J&K State.
Addressing public gathering at Ladoli in Kathua today, Dr Sharma while taking serious note of the deteriorating situation in the State, said that both the Governments have miserably failed to control the situation. He said, infact alliance of PDP and BJP are responsible for the unrest prevailing among the masses in the State. Youth are much frustrated as this Government has added to their woes, the Cong leader maintained.
Expressing serious s concern over the steep rise in militancy in State as many youth are being lured towards the militancy and stone-pelting , Sharma said joining of educated youth is a matter of grave concern. He said that this is the first time that tourists from Chennai were targeted resulting in death of one person which marks a blot on already tarnished image of State.
Dr Sharma alleged that BJP Govt led by Modi has no concrete policy to deal with the prevailing situation in J&K. He further said there is no consistency in dealing with security of the country as well as in State whether it may be in dealing with terrorism and external threats to the State .
He further alleged that BJP- PDP has miserably failed to address the genuine problems of the people such as unemployment, the position of farmers , daily wagers, Anganwadi workers etc. Disparity with other regions is leading to the anger in general public.
