UDHAMPUR, Dec 14: Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) and Chairman, Rogi Kalyan Samiti, District Hospital (DH) Balwant Singh Mankotia instructed the hospital authorities for the installation of fully automatic bio-chemistry analyzer for bio-chemical test, so that effective test reports be provided to the patients.
He issued instruction during the meeting of the governing body of the RKS here today, during which modalities for smooth functioning of the DH were discussed.
He asked the hospital authorities to provided best medicare facilities to the patients and also asked the Engineers of PDD for installation of electric meter in the hospital premises at the earliest. Mankotia also directed the Engineers of PWD to prepare estimated cost for tiles works of walls and floor in the hospital premises.
Various other issues, which were discussed during the meeting included implementation of NHPC and National Programme for Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Stroke, Hypertensions and CVD diseases, up-gradation of OPD services, laboratory and blood bank services, X-Ray section, USG, CT, Operation Theatres, Emergency and casualty, registration section besides improvement of indoor complex and regularization of vehicular traffic in the hospital complex.
Apart from this, general issues were also discussed including opening of ATM of J&K Bank, installation of more CCTV cameras, canteen for staff and attendants, public conveniences, etc.
Among others present were Medical Superintendent Dr Chander Parkash, Deputy Medical Superintendent Dr Deepak Kumar, Engineers of PWD, PHE, PDD, representatives of NGOs and officers from Civil Administration.
