JAMMU, May 10: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS) today appealed the State Government to register case against the stone pelters who killed a tourist from Chennai in Narbal area, and put them behind bars.
In a meeting of the office bearers of the Sabha held under the presidentship of Romesh Chander Gupta, the speakers discussed deteriorating situation in the State. All of them criticized in one voice stone pelting incident occurred at Narbal wherein a tourist from Chennai was killed.
The speakers said stone pelting on visiting tourists is a matter of great concern, particularly in view of ensuing Amarnath pilgrimage. They appealed the Government to take stern action against the killers of the tourist and booked them under Section 302 of RPC.
