Dharmarth Trust honours various organisations

Jammu, Dec 14: Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust today honoured various members of Muslim Federation, social organizations and Press Media for their help towards conducting religious function successfully.  Various social organizations like Jammu Yatri Bhawan, Bal Niketan, Ved Mandir, Home for age and infirm, SoS Children  Channi Himmat, Khushat Rog Ashram Bhagwati Nagar, Gou Raksha Samiti, Sanatan Dharam Sabha, Samaj Kalayan Kendra Deaf And Dumb and Rashtriya Bhasha Parchar Samiti Nanak Nagar,Jammu besides 19 Tableaus  which participated in the Shri Krishan Janamashtami Rath Yatra were given prizes.
The function was presided over by Ajatshatru  Singh MLC and Trustee J&K Dharmarth Trust Council. Vijay Bakaya MLC and Member Council J&K Dharmarth Trust and Major Gen. Retd. R.S.Jamwal President, Sanjeev Verma D.C,Jammu and Shashi Khajuria, Secretary, attended the function.
AjatShatru Singh while speaking on the occasion thanked all the participants for contributing their efforts in making the Rath Yatra a grand success and asked to continue their endeavors for such religious function in future also.  He also expressed special thanks to District Administration for making excellant arrangements for Rath Yatra.
The prizes were also given to the officials of Dharmarth Trust who worked day and night for construction of Yasho Karan Park at Ranbireshwar Temple Complex, Shalamar Road, Jammu.  The Park is made at the cost of Rs. 51 lakh donated by Dr. Karan Singh in memory of his wife.
