BSP flays JMC

JAMMU, Dec 14: Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) flayed Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) for not releasing the second installment for construction of houses under BSUP.
A meeting of BSP was held under the chairmanship of its State president Tulsi Dass Langeh, who while speaking said that the person who has raised the structure of the house from the base to the rooftop out of first installment (Rs 1 lakh), is waiting for release of second installment, which JMC is delaying despite availability of funds.
He urged Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand, who is also holding the portfolio of Minister for Housing and Urban Development and Commissioner, JMC Kuldip Khajuria for release of second and third installments at the earliest, so that construction work of the houses may come to an end.
Among others present were RL Chargotra, State vice president, Rattan Kumar Bhagat, treasurer, Tilak Raj Bhagat, Dalbir Singh Bhagat and Om Nath.
