JAMMU, Dec 14: After a lull of three days, Pakistan Army tonight again resorted to heavy firing on forward Indian posts in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district.
Official reports said Pakistan Army started firing from their posts opposite Krishna Ghati sector at 9.30 pm today. Various forward Army posts were targeted in the firing
The Indian side retaliated only to ensure that the militants didn’t manage to infiltrate into this side under the cover of Pakistan firing, which was an act of ceasefire violation.
During past three days, there had been no firing from Pakistan side. Prior to that, Pakistan Army had resorted to firing and ceasefire violations for past one week. The Indian side had retaliated effectively.
Sources said there was no immediate report of any damage on Indian side in the Pakistan firing tonight, which continued for more than one hour.
