POONCH, May 12: The people from Kas Baladi villaghe in Mendhar today held protest demonstration against the CAPD authorities for the supply of poor quality of ration and sugar in the local depot.
The people in large number came out on the road and held strong protest demonstration against the CAPD authorities. They alleged that quality of rice, levy sugar and atta was very poor. They also alleged that concerned TSO and Storekeeper were informed about the mater but they have taken no cognizance of the matter. Later, they submitted a memorandum to SDM Mendhar demanding action against the concerned CAPD staff. The TSO send Naib Tehsildar to the village to verify the complaint who found that 12 bags of sugar were wet and giving smell while rice was totally adulterated. The stuff of flour was also not up to the mark. He submitted written report to SDM but the action is still awaited.
