UDHAMPUR, May 13: A young girl allegedly committed suicide by hanging in Pathi Pangara area of Udhampur today.
A police spokesman said that Kakhan Devi, daughter of Ludder Singh, resident of Pathi Pangara in Udhampur, found hanging from the ceiling hook of a room at her residence today. She was rushed to Udhampur, hospital by the family members where she was declared as dead. The body of the deceased was sent for postmortem. The police has registered a case for investigation.
