JAMMU, May 15: In order to bring efficiency and punctuality in the Civil Secretariat, Commissioner Secretary Khurshid Ahmad impressed upon all the Administrative Secretaries to direct the employees of the Civil Secretariat under their administrative control to mark their attendance regularly either by Non- Aadhaar Based Biometric Face Recognition System or by Aadhaar Based Biometric Attendance System.
It was further ordered that the salary from the month of May, 2018 will be released by the concerned DDO only on the basis of biometric attendance reports issued by the concerned nodal officers appointed in the department.
The DDOs of all the departments will also have to submit their compliance report in this behalf to the GAD in the first week of every month for appraisal of the competent authority.
