Karnataka verdict establishes BJP as pan-India party: Dr Jitendra

Excelsior Correspondent
NEW DELHI, May 15: Having emerged as the single largest party in the Karnataka State Assembly ,way ahead of other parties, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has unequivocally established itself as the only truly pan-India political party in the country, with its presence across the length and breadth of the Indian peninsula, from North to South, East to West and even up to Northeast.
Stating this during a series of interviews to different news channels and agencies at BJP National headquarters at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg here today, following the declaration of Karnataka Assembly election results, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), MoS PMO, Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr Jitendra Singh said, people of Karnataka, as much as people in the rest of India, have reiterated their faith and trust in the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The youth in particular, he said, who comprise the majority of the Indian population today, see Modi as someone who can realize the fulfillment of their aspirations and dreams.
Dr Jitendra Singh said, Modi has emerged as an asset who has the capacity to bind together, in a single chord, a nation and a society as heterogeneous as India. This is a fact to be acknowledged by every political party and all sections of society, that never before in 70 years after independence, India has seen a leader with such an overwhelming acceptability and credibility in every nook and corner of India, notwithstanding the different cultures, different languages, different faiths and different regional priorities.
Asked to comment on BJP’s election strategy, Dr Jitendra Singh said, BJP, under its National President Amit Shah, has introduced a new work culture which will have to be emulated by every other political party of the country. This, he said, is the culture of 24×7 commitment and devotion in public life. BJP, under its current leadership, he said, works in a perpetual mode and while all the other activities including ideological programmes, mass contact programmes, organizational expansion programmes, etc. go on hand-in-hand, the election management programme also continues uninterruptedly, which is why, on the last day of any election campaign, even before the election results are out, the preparations begin for the next elections.
