JWAM opposes unilateral ceasefire decision

JAMMU, May 17: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) has strongly opposed Union Home Ministry’s decision of “unilateral ceasefire” in Jammu and Kashmir during Ramzan.
In a statement issued here today, JWAM president, Sunil Dimple said that announcement of unilateral ceasefire made by Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) is very unfortunate as the separatists have already rejected this demand of the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
Dimple said that unilateral ceasefire and suspension of operation “All Out” will demoralize our security forces and the nationalist people of the State and put their lives in danger.
He appealed the Chief of the Army Staff and PM not to stop operation “All Out” against the terrorists and stone pelters. He disclosed that the Movement will hold a Tiranga Rally on May 18 against MHA’s decision of unilateral ceasefire.
