10 bovine animals rescued by Samba police

SAMBA, May 17: In its continuous drive against the bovine smuggling launched by district police Samba, a police party of PP Rakh Amb Talli foiled a bovine smuggling bid and rescued 10 bovines.
Acting on reliable information received at PP Rakh Amb Talli that bovine animals are being smuggled from Manohar Gopala area towards Srinagar side by foot without any permission, a police team of PP Rakh Amb Talli headed by SI Deepak Bharti, I/C PP Rakh Amb Talli on the directives of SSP Samba, Anil Magotra and under the close supervision of Deepak Digra, DySP Hqrs Samba reached the spot at Basantar Nallah and rescued 10 bovines. The bovine smugglers on seeing the police party managed to escape from the spot. In this regard a case FIR No. 132/2018 U/S 188 RPC has been registered in PS Samba and investigation started to nab smugglers.
