JAMMU, May 18: International Human Rights Organization (IHRO) today condemned the ceasefire violation by Pakistan in RS Pura sector and demanded the Indian Government to take necessary action against the neighboring country.
Addressing a press conference at IHRO office, Gandhi Nagar, Pardeepak Singh Chib, Deputy Director, IHRO J&K, said, “Border with Pakistan has witnessed a number of ceasefire violations in the last three months. Our soldiers are being martyred every single day. The crisis is not looking to end soon”.
“The Government had promised to give 5 marla plot to every family residing along the border, who have been forced to migrate to other places whenever Pakistan violates ceasefire. They have been made to leave their household and dwell in the migrant camps with inadequate facilities”, he added.
He demanded the Government to take necessary action against Pakistan and warns of agitation against the Central as well as State Government if adequate steps are not taken for bringing peace on borders.
