Srinagar, May 20: Army provided helping hand to a differently abled woman by presenting a motorised wheel-chair to her today.
An Army spokesman said that Shirazaa Nazir had met with an accident that resulted in her sustaining severe injuries to her back and lower limbs and to enable her to perform her daily chores smoothly and independently, Army presented her with a motorised wheelchair.
He said in keeping with the true essence of the pious month of Ramzan, the wheelchair was presented in a ceremony in the presence of Army officials and local dignitaries besides family of the beneficiary.
