JAMMU, Dec 16: With the aim to promote the culture of J&K, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Sansthan and Super Model Club jointly organized semi final event for the talent hunt “Jammu’s Got Talent Season-3” in singing, dancing and modeling categories.
Anil Kumar Gupta, chairman J&K Democratic Front, was the chief guest and S A Buch, Director Doordarshan, Sohil Qazmi, senior journalist, Amit Sharma, Area Sales Executive, J&K and Punjab and Tahir Ali were the guests of honour.
M L Dogra, chairman, Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala Santhan said that such talent hunt strengthens the State’s rich culture heritage and brotherhood and underline the need and necessity of folk music and dance in our life.
Earlier, Bhanu Pratab Singh, managing director, Super Model Club honored the chief guest and other dignitaries with bouquet and momentous. He said that the one-week workshop for short listed participants would be organized for the of final event.
M L Dogra underlined the need to boost such type of events for strengthening the State’s culture.
Speaking on the occasion, Anil Kumar Gupta, chief guest, congratulated the organization for promoting the culture of the State and blessed the artistes for best performance on grand finale.
Judges gave the judgment and selected 50 participants out of 130 short listed participants for grand finale.
The grand finale will be organized at Police Auditorium on December 23 and the outstanding winners will also be given the chance in new video productions.
