KISHTWAR, May 24: District Development Commissioner Angrez Singh Rana today constituted committees to verify the execution of works for which crores of funds are being released every year under MPLADs and CDF.
“In order to check whether the works duly identified by the members for the community development under MPLADs and CDFs have been executed on grounds or not and whether guidelines have been followed or not in the execution of these works”, the order of DDC reads and added that it will also keep close vigil and monitoring on the quality of the works.
It was disclosed that 13 committees have been constituted for the purpose and each committee is headed by a senior level officer.
The block level verification committees will verify the works executed during the year 2015-16 and 2016-17 under MPLAD and CDF and will submit the report to the DDC regarding the execution and quality of works.
The officers will report whether the execution of the work have caused any impact in the development of community of that area or not.
The committees will also ensure the submission of the verification report by or before June 20.
