JAMMU, May 25: An auto driver today allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence here in Bakshi Nagar area.
“The deceased identified as Bunty Kumar (33) son of Jagdish Raj, resident of Reshamghar Colony, was found hanging with the hook of the ceiling fan at his residence, this morning”, a police official said, adding the man was under depression after the death of his mother about 4-5 months back.
He said that body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites after completing all medico-legal formalities. In this connection, Bakshi Nagar police has initiated inquest proceedings.
