JAMMU, May 28: Nagrota police foiled bovine smuggling bid by rescuing 17 cattle.
As per police sources, during checking at Ban Toll Plaza, a team from Nagrota Police Station intercepted a truck.
During checking, police rescued 17 cattle from the vehicle and seized it, while the accused driver managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 131/18 under Sections 188 RPC and 3/5 PCA Act has been registered at Nagrota Police Station and hunt has been launched to nab the accused.
