RAJOURI, May 30: Manhas Cricket Club thrashed Peer Panjal Cricket Club by 10 wickets in the ongoing Rajouri District JKCA Premier Cricket Championship being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association, under the patronage of its Administrators Justice CK Prasad and Justice Riffat Alam and under the chairmanship of CEO JKCA, AH Bukhari at District Police Lines ground, here.
The Championship is being supervised by retired Judge, Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal.
Earlier, put into bat, Peer Panjal Cricket Club collapsed at a paltry total of 67 runs in 13.2 overs. Irfan Khan and Shahid Khan were the only two batsmen to cross double figure mark, contributing 16 and 12 runs to the total respectively. From Manhas Cricket Club, Ishtiaq Ahmed was the pick of the bowlers, taking 4 important wickets, while Zaheer and Amir claimed 3 wickets each.
Manhas Cricket Club chased the target easily in 6.2 overs, without losing any wicket to win the match by 10 wickets. Sahil Ahmed top scored with 45 runs, while Vishal Sharma contributed 23 runs to the total. Ishtiaq Ahmed of Manhas Cricket Club was declared as the man of the match for his magnificent bowling display.
