JAMMU, May 30: Team work helped Game Changer Cricket Club to register a big win by 53 runs over Young Star Cricket Club in the ongoing JKCA Premier Cricket Championship, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association, under the overall supervision of retired Judge, Jang Bahadur Singh Jamwal at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Earlier, winning the toss and batting first, Game Changer Cricket Club scored 203 runs in the allotted 30 overs, losing 7 wickets in the process. Vishal Verma top scored with 48 runs off 33 balls, studded with 4 fours and 2 sixes, while Anil contributed 45 off 36 balls with the help of 7 boundaries. Gourav and Aryan scored 22 and 21 runs to the total respectively. From Young Star Cricket Club, Vishal and Vishal Bhat took 2 wickets each.
In reply, Young Star Cricket Club managed to score 150 runs in 27.3 overs, thus lost the match by 53 runs. Ayush Bhat top scored with 37 runs off 27 balls, hitting 6 boundaries, while Shubham and Vickey contributed 28 and 25 runs to the total respectively. Gourav took 2 wickets from Game Changer Cricket Club. Vishal Verma of Game Changer Cricket Club was adjudged as the man of the match.
The match was officiated by Ashok Singh and Rahul Kumar as umpires, while Saleem-ur-Rehman was the scorer.
