SRINAGAR, June 6: BJP today said that Narendra Modi Government restored the people’s trust and confidence among politicians and Government.
Talking to reporters here, today, BJP State general secretary, Narinder Singh along with party spokesperson, Altaf Thakur and BJYM State president, Dr Suresh Ajay Mangotra said that image of country was bad due to rising corruption during the UPA first and UPA second and India’s image had lowered before the comity of nations and people had lost faith in Government as well as politicians.
The entire scenario was bad in the country, he said, adding soon change took place in the country after Modi took over as Prime Minister on May 26, 2014.
He said it was due to the efforts of Prime Minister that India’s image rose at international level and world acknowledged and lauded the role of Prime Minister. “He is being given rousing reception in every country where he visits and people highly acknowledge and admire his policies and leadership not only in India but across the globe”, he added.
It is the result of trust and faith which the 130 crore Indians have on Modi that despite facing problems the people waited in long queues in front of banks to deposit their notes to support demonetization decision of an honest Prime Minister as people believed that it was for the betterment of the nation and common man.
Narinder Singh also highlighted various public welfare schemes launched by Narendra Modi like Ujwala, Atal Pension Yojna, Surksha Bhima, Ayushman Bharat, Phasal Bhima Yojna etc.
He said under Ujwala Scheme 5.5 lakh free gas connections were given in the State of J&K alone and 70 thousand loans were given by banks to people under the self employment, besides, under Surksha Bhima Rs 10 crore were given to the next kin of those who died during this period and were insured under this category of insurance.
He said the State was given Rs one lakh croe Central assistance for its development by Modi Government and Prime Minister assured that the funds will be no constraint for the development of terrorism ravaged State of J&K.
Narinder Singh while seeking cooperation of people in restoration of peace in the strife torn Valley said that for better future it is our duty to strengthen the hands of the honest Prime Minister who is dedicated to cause of peole.
In response to ceasefire violations by Pakistan and killing of people on borders, Singh said Pakistan is being given befitting reply by our forces and decisive battle is also being fought against terrorism by the present Government.
He said the civil society of Kashmir has a role to play in restoring the normalcy in the State and they have to launch a crusade against terrorism and also advise the misguided youth to shun the path of violence instead of glorifying it.
Singh, while criticizing the separatist Hurriyat leaders said on the one hand they have greeted the Shabir Shah for his daughter’s good performance in CBSE results and on the other hand they are instigating the poor children for stone pelting which indicates their double standards.
They want to push the poor children into uncertainty and send their children for green pastures. This, a common Kashmiri has to understand and he should revolt against those forces who are harming his interests and turning the career of their children bleak. He also appealed media to produce those children as icons who excel in their career instead of terrorists and stone pelters.
