SRINAGAR: The Army today foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir, killing six militants.
Troops noticed suspicious movement along the LoC in Keran sector in Kupwara district of north Kashmir and challenged the infiltrators, an Army official said here.
He said six militants were killed in the ensuing gunfight.
Search operations were continuing the area, the official said. (AGENCIES)
