JAMMU: Union Minister Jitendra Singh said today due cognizance would be taken by the Centre about a proposal for grant of land to Jamiat Ahle Hadees in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Due cognizance will be taken whatever comes to light. I am sure the Government has already taken cognizance of it as I am not directly dealing with it,” Singh told reporters here today.
The Minister said he felt the Union Home Ministry would have taken cognizance of it, if there is any pitfall. He was replying to a question that the Mehbooba Mufti Government, BJP’s alliance partner, was in the process of granting a huge plot of land to Jamiat Ahle Hadees. (AGENCIES)
