SAMBA, June 15: A delegation of senior leaders of Shiv Sena (SS), Bal Thackeray today met the Dy Commissioner, Samba and submitted a memorandum highlighting the problems being faced by the general public of Samba district.
The delegation was led by the senior leaders of Shiv Sena, Dimpy Kohli its president, Vipin Hindu its chairman and Ashwani Gupta, working president. The Dy Commissioner Samba was apprised of the difficulties being faced by the public of Samba district. The Dy Commissioner assured the delegation that all possible steps will be taken to solve the problem of the public. The problem of power cuts was also discussed with DC by the delegation.
Dy Commissioner assured that next week all the concerned officers will be called to the DC office and all the pending cases of Prime Minister’s Awas Yojna will be cleared. A control room has been made to address the problem of drinking water, the control room is working round the clock to serve the public, he added.
Other Shiv Sena who were part of delegation included Ramesh Gupta, Vijay Malyal Nathpal Chowdhury, Rakesh Kak, Sanjeev Kumar, Raju Salaria, Raj Singh etc.
