Bovines smuggling bid foiled

KATHUA, June 16: Marheen police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 12 cattle.
As per police spokesman, a team from Marheen Police Post laid a naka at village Banyari and intercepted a truck bearing registration number JK02AH-5977.
During checking, police rescued 12 cattle from the vehicle and seized it, while the accused smugglers managed to escape from the spot.
A case under FIR Number 147/18 under Section 188 RPC and 3 PCA Act has been registered and investigation started.
