DODA, June 17: Two brothers have been arrested for killing a man with sharp edged weapon.
As per police sources, on June 14 this year, a complaint was lodged by Subash Chander, son of Amar Chand of Gurekra with Police Post Prem Nagar stating that on June 13 at around 10 pm his brother has been attacked by Jai Paul and Sat Paul, son of Ram Lal of Gurekra with sharp edged weapon.
The victim was shifted to GMCH Jammu, where he failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his injuries.
A case under FIR Number 40/18 under relevant Sections was registered at Thathri Police Station and hunt was launched to nab the accused.
On specific information, a joint team from Thathri Police Station and Prem Nagar Police Post conducted raid and arrested the accused within 72 hours.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Thathri Inspector Sunil Kumar Sharma and assisted by Incharge Police Post Prem Nagar Bharam Dev made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Bhaderwah Tussif Ahmed, Additional SP Bhaderwah Rajinder Singh and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir.
