Byond Tech Electronics unveils ‘MI Book’ series

JAMMU, Dec 19: Byond Tech Electronics Private Limited unveiled widest range of Tablet PC “MI Book” series here today.
Manish Jain, Associate Director, Byond Tech Electronics Private Limited, said that they brought to India, the biggest range of tablets, under one brand, with 10 versions of “MI Book” as they call it, with retail range starting from Rs 4300 to Rs 11,000.
All MI books come with 3D screens. For the product, their research team is most excited about the “Laplet”, which would prove to be the biggest gift for the consumers on Christmas, he added.
Jain informed that for tablets and smart phones, they have invested around 10 million USD and the investment is likely to get doubled within a year.
We are in the telecom business for the last over three years and planning to be aggressive player in android phones and tablet pc segment, he added.
During launching ceremony, local retailers of Jammu province along with Super Distributors Raman Sharma, Managing Director, M/s Shree Technologies were also present.
Ranjit Sidhu, Zonal Sales Manager, said that the company is targeting sales of more than one million tablets a year and a market share of close to 15 per cent to emerge as a leading player in the market.
The MI Book series will comprise of 7-inch screen tablets, tablets with Sim card facility, 9“ and 10“ wide screen tablets, Laplet series containing tablets with portable attached key pad, he informed.
