SAMBA, Dec 20: The police seized a truck loaded with 12 bovine animals and arrested one person in this connection near Mansar Morh today.
A police spokesman said that a naka party from Samba district during checking intercepted a truck bearing registration No. PB06K/2390 at Mansar Morh on National Highway and found 12 bovine animals being transported towards Udhampur. The driver had no valid permission for the transportation of the animals from the District Magistrate.
The police arrested the driver and seized the vehicle along with animals. The accused was identified as Billa, son of Gaya, resident of Chak village in Hiranagar. The police has registered a case in this connection.
