JAMMU, Dec 20: Pradesh Congress Committee, including senior leaders of the Party celebrated victory of the Congress Party in Himachal Pradesh today.
The senior leaders of the party including some Ministers and legislators assembled at the PCC headquarters, Shahidi Chowk here today and distributed sweets. The drum beaters were also seen at the party office joining the celebration and even some workers were witnessed dancing in jubilation.
The celebrations were held under the leadership of senior vice president of the PCC Dharam Paul Sharma ( Ex-MP). He and other senior leaders, including S Gurmukh Singh, Sham Lal Sharma (Health Minister), Th Hari Singh, Ghulam Nabi Monga-MLC, Mula Ram Ex-Minister, Ravinder Sharma, Indu Pawar-MLA, Om Chopra Ex-MLA, Shiv Dev Singh (Ex-MLA), Lalita Sharma, Ashwani Puri, Manmohan Singh, K L Gupta, Hari Singh Chib and others congratulated the Central leadership of the party and from Himachal Pradesh for the land slide victory in the Assembly elections in the State.
The PCC leadership also expressed satisfaction over the outcome of Gujarat, where the party maintained its position, contrary to the claims of the BJP and its sister organizations.
