PK, KSD for probe into penetration of Jihadi forces in administration

JAMMU, June 28: Two Kashmiri Pandit organizations have urged the new Government in the State to order a thorough probe into the penetration of radical Islamist establishment into the organs of administration and mainstream political parties.
Talking to reporters here, today the representatives of Panun Kashmir (PK) including its convener, Dr Agnishekhar and chairman, Dr Ajay Chrungoo and Kashmir Samiti Delhi KSD, president, Vijay Raina and general secretary, Sumeer Chrungoo said “we have no hesitation to state that Jamaat-i-Islami and Jamait Ahl-e-Hadis have been acting as the frontline organizations of radical Islamist indoctrination and subversion in the State and have managed to receive immense patronization of the political class particularly the recent PDP led Government. It should be the foremost duty of the Governments in the State as well as Centre to insulate the administration and the political class from the influence of Pan Islamist forces operating in the State’’, they added.

They also appealed to the State as well as Central Government to involve the premiere National Investigating Agency (NIA) to look into the critical issues of use of the State Government and organs of administration by the Jihadi establishment spearheading the Pan Islamist goal of creation of an Islamic Caliphate.
They also urged both the Governments to allow the NIA to pursue the already started cases of investigating the funding of the subversive terrorist campaigns in the State with full vigour and without any political interference.
It is high time for the Government to realize that the terrorist campaign in the State is an integral part of the Pan Islamist Global Jihad and the separatist campaign in Jammu and Kashmir is extremely regressive, communal and fascist in nature, they said.
“We have no hesitation in stating that the security policy of the previous Mehbooba led Government to reduce the foot prints of the security forces in the State in an environment of mass Takfiri Islamisation and growing local terrorism was a policy of subverting the State responses to the Jihadi scourge. It was aimed to demean and ridicule the resistance against terrorism and militarization of the society particularly in Kashmir province’’, they said.
They also urged both the Governments to realize that existing policy of treating the issue of genocide and religious cleansing of Hindus of Kashmir and their internal displacement as akin to issues of fire, flood or earthquake victims has lead to immense misery and marginalisation of the victims. It is high time to abandon this policy and recognized it as the issue of reversal of genocide. Creation of a Union Territory of Panun Kashmir North and East of river Jhelum for the permanent rehabilitation of Hindus of Kashmir is the only way to reverse this genocide.
