SAMBA, June 30: Deputy Commissioner Rajinder Singh Tara conducted extensive tour of Samba town with a team of officers of various departments to take on the spot stock of service delivery including availability of essentials, medicines, supply of drinking water, power etc.
Deputy Commissioner passed directions to PHE and PDD to closely monitor the water and power supply to avoid inconvenience to the general public.
The DDC further directed EO Municipality to remove polythene and de silt all drains to prevent water logging.
He also met public and listened to their grievances and assured timely redressal of the same.
The officers’ team included SSP Anil Magotra, Xens of PDD, PHE, EO Municipal Committee, district officers of various departments and field functionaries.
