JAMMU, July 1: Jourian police arrested a bootlegger and recovered illicit liquor pouches form his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Jourian Police Post conducted raid in Village Kullian Malal, Tehsil Khour and apprehended one person alongwith 26 pouches of illicit liquor.
A case under FIR Number 131/18 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Akhnoor and further investigation of the case is going on.
Police team led by Incharge Jourian Police Post SI Anil Choudhary made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Akhnoor Inspector Shiv Dev Singh, SDPO Akhnoor Munish Anand and SP Rural Dushyant Sharma.
